Our Chocolate Icing Rooted hair color is predominantly cool toned. The base is a medium cool chocolate brown. The highlights on top are mostly a medium ash blonde. We add subtle pops of light caramel brown to the highlights as a secondary shade to prevent the color from looking too grey, which is always a risk in hair colors that have a lot of ash tones but no warmth. This subtle addition of warmth helps to make this easier to wear, though the majority of the color, as well as the overall undertones, are cool ash.
